Daniele M. Donahoe, CFA

Daniele Donahoe serves as Partner, Chief Equity Strategist and Regional Director of McShane Partners, now Waverly Advisors, LLC. After coming to the firm in May 2010, Daniele grew the firm to $700 million in AUM. Prior to McShane Partners, Daniele was with Columbia Management, as a Senior Portfolio Manager she co-managed the Columbia Small Cap Growth II fund.

Before Columbia Management, Daniele served as an Associate Analyst on an Institutional Investor Magazine Ranked Equity Research Team following the Enterprise Software industry at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) in New York. She also served as an Associate at Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco, CA and J.C. Bradford in Nashville, TN.

Throughout her career, Daniele focused on equity research across a broad range of industries ranging from multi-billion dollar corporations to small and micro capitalization equities. Daniele successfully applied her experience in institutional money management, her time on Wall Street and her experience managing a billion dollar fund, to create a unique investment culture at McShane Partners where assets have more than tripled. She assembled a strong investment team with in-house proprietary research and architected research templates for manager due diligence and stock selection.

Daniele has co-authored industry publications such as B2B eCommerce: A Vertical and Horizontal Perspective and E2E Commerce: How the Internet Redefines Enterprise Software and continues to write research whitepapers on topics ranging from ETFs, fixed income, cash management and alternative assets. She is a frequent speaker in Charlotte news outlets, including the Charlotte Business Journal and Charlotte Observer, as well as national publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg. Daniele Donahoe, provides a quarterly Economic Overview Webinar to discuss the firm’s thoughts on the significant financial, economic, and political developments throughout the quarter, as well as our perspective on current economic conditions and our outlook for global financial markets. These economic webinars are available to CPA’s and CFP’s for continuing educational credits upon request.

Daniele oversees McShane Partner’s meaningful charitable gifting program funded by 10% of profits annually. There are three pillars of the program focusing on female empowerment, education, and the arts. This has meaningful impact locally.
