She then joined the Board and Finance Committee of the Alexander Youth Network, where she was able to fulfill her passion for helping children in need. She recently raised over $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation through the W.I.S.H. Society and completing a 28.3 mile hike. To continue her desire to give back to the community, Leah joined the Women’s Impact Fund in 2016.
Aside from her charitable activities, her professional activities include serving as a member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council, an educational forum for estate planning professionals. She has been a member of the Queens University Estate Planners Day Steering Committee for several years and served as Chair for the 2015-2016 year. She joined Women Executives (WE) in 2015. During 2014, she was one of Charlotte’s 25 most influential business women honored with the Charlotte Business Journal’s “Women in Business” award and was an honoree in the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s W.I.S.H. Society.
